Applications:
- For use with residential air-conditioning systems
- For use with commercial air-conditioning systems
- For use with commercial refrigeration systems
- For use with heat pump systems (both residential and commercial)
What is the EGS?
EGS is a heat recovery unit that can be used with most air conditioning, heat pump, or refrigeration systems to generate 'Virtually Free' hot water.
How does EGS work?
- Using NO pumps, NO controls, and requiring NO electrical connections, the EGS operates on the physical law that hot gases or liquids are less dense and thus rise.
- Hot gas refrigerant is piped to the EGS and back to the condensing section of the air conditioning, heat pump, or refrigeration system.
- The water inlet side of the EGS is tied to the bottom of the water heater or storage tank and the water outlet is tied to the hot water line at the top of the water heater or storage tank.
- Using a tube-on-tube spiral, the heat exchange takes place and water flow results because of the temperature differential.
