Western Sales Office February 26, 2003 16:05:00 (ET) ODESSA, Fla., Feb 26, 2003 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX/ -- Global Energy Group, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: GENG) ("Global Energy") announced today that it will open a Western Regional Sales Office in Phoenix, Arizona and has named Steven Crimi as the Western Regional Sales Manager. The Phoenix office will handle sales in Arizona, Nevada and southern California. Sales for northern California will be handled from the company's existing sales support office in San Jose, California. "One of our key goals for 2003 was to accelerate our sales growth in the western part of the United States, particularly in Arizona and California," said Guy S. Frankenfield, Global Energy Vice President of Sales. "The combination of climatic conditions and the price of electricity in these areas make our line of highly energy efficient air conditioning products very appealing. Furthermore," Frankenfield continued, "several locations in this area of the country offer rebates tied to improved energy efficiency and our units can qualify for rebates of up to $1,000 more than other high efficiency units." Global Energy will be selling both its Inventor Series 1400 line of packaged air-conditioners, as well as its EER+ retrofit product for existing air-cooled equipment. While results will vary from building to building, Global Energy's patented technology has enabled the company's products to improve energy efficiency by up to 40%. "I believe that we are entering the market in the far west at the right time," said Steve Crimi. "Because our products lower both electricity consumption and demand, we can save our customers money and make a contribution towards solving the energy supply issues in the western part of the country. An added benefit to our product is that by using less electricity, it will in turn reduce power plant emissions and make a contribution to improved air quality." The Inventor Series 1400 packaged air conditioning unit is certified by the independent Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Institute as the highest efficiency unit commercially available, with Energy Efficiency Ratios of up to 13.5 and has received the United States Environmental Protection Agency's Energy Star rating. Global Energy was formed in 1998 for the primary purpose of inventing, developing and commercializing new technologies that improve the energy efficiency of existing products and processes. The Company has a particular focus on, and significant skill in, applications that involve thermodynamics and heat exchange. Global Energy currently holds the rights to eight patents and eight patent-pending applications. Additional information is available at: www.gegsolutions.com.
